NEWCOTE AL 227 – INSULATING DIE DRESSING

Newcote AL 227 is a new insulating dressing used in aluminium gravity and low pressure aluminium foundries. This product is especially developed for application on critical die areas where maximum flowability of molten aluminium and heat insulation are required.

Newcote AL 227 offers long service life, remarkable adhesion and good resistance to molten metal abrasion.

The new formulation allows to increase the wettability and dispersion capacity of foundry coatings.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after each withdrawal. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
