NEWCOTE 3450 – WATER BASED BORON NITRIDE COATING

Newcote 3450 is a Boron Nitride-based coating with the addition of a special binder resistant to high temperatures and the action of liquid metal. It is designed to be applied with a brush or spray gun.

Newcote 3450 is recommended for applications on porous and non-porous materials, metals, ceramic materials, refractory materials, insulators, molds and other equipment in the casting of Aluminum and Magnesium alloys that require non-wettability, refractoriness and lubricity characteristics.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after use. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product thoroughly before use. If stored properly the product lasts more than 12 months.
