CUPRAL 103 N – SPECIAL FLUX FOR BRONZES

Cupral 103 N is recommended for covering and deoxidizing:

Aluminum bronzes: Cu-Ni-Fe
Manganese bronzes: Cu-Zn-Mn-Fe-Pb
Silicon bronzes: Cu-Si-Sn
Lead brasses: Cu-Zn-Pb-Al-Sn

It is used in cupping ovens. The product avoids contamination of the filler, oxidation of the aluminium, increases the mechanical characteristics of the castings and reduces melting losses.

The Cupral 103 N produces a dry slag. Cupral 103 N is therefore suitable for the treatment of shell casting alloys. The product reacts above 850°C.

Packaging and storage

Warnings

25 kg paper bag laminated with polythene, moisture resistant, heat sealed at the base.

The product is hygroscopic. Store in a dry storage and close the package after each use. If the product is stored in a dry place away from sunlight, the product does not expire.
