VERFLEX 14/1 – VERMICULITE BASED COATING

VERFLEX 14/1 is a vermiculite based coating suitable for any use and particularly resistant to abrasion and high temperatures on permanent moulds of aluminum alloys gravity die casting.

VERFLEX 14/1 is used when a perfect surface finish of the castings is required. The long life of the coating allows the production of large series of castings.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after each withdrawal. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
