METALCOTE 27 – MEDIUM INSULATING DIE DRESSING

Metalcote 27 is a shell coating, with high insulating power, suitable for the production of aluminum castings with thin sections and large flat surfaces.

The peculiar characteristic of Metalcote 27 is that it creates a superficial plaster on the shell with a slightly wrinkled appearance and sharp edges.

This allows for perfect metal flow and filling.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after each withdrawal. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
