Plunger Lub-One/3 is a solid lubricant, in drops form, for tips and sleeves lubrication of pressure die-casting machines producing aluminium components. This product has been formulated with extreme pressure resistance compounds to reduce wear and guarantee low friction in critical areas of plungers. The product should be used with automatic distribution unit. It has been studied to be dispensed into the sleeve chamber, prior to metal pour. The earlier the product is directly dropped into the sleeve before plunger shot cycle, the better it can spread evenly throughout the sleeve. The ignition of the drops help air to be evacuated from the sleeve, reducing the castings porosity.
