Metalcote 1999/1 is a new protective coating intended for the protection of cast iron or steel tools in contact with liquid aluminium.
Metalcote 1999/1 is particularly suitable for protecting cast iron or steel sampling cups used in shell casting or die casting.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after each withdrawal. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If stored properly the product lasts more than 24 months.
