In aluminium foundries, the control of Hydrogen in molten metal, is an important issue to be considered, before pouring the alloys.

Gas Detector 2006 is a low cost apparatus, simplified for practical foundry application and developed for Hydrogen determination in liquid aluminium. With Gas Detector 2006 we offer an accurate method of monitoring Hydrogen level in molten aluminium alloys before and after degassing cycle.
The principle is based on the STRAUBE-PFEIFFER method.
