Alsiblock 3, 500 g tablets, is a modifying flux which release Sodium into the melt, holding for a longer time the modification status of eutectic Aluminium-Silicon (6-13%) alloys, in sand and gravity die-casting alloys. The product should not be immersed but only left on a dross free surface of the melt in crucible or reverberatory holding furnaces.

500 g tablets in 20 kg boxes.

Warnings

The product is hygroscopic. Store in a dry storage and away from heat sources. Close the package after use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
