Magclear 332 is a powdered flux containing special compounds reacting and reducing Magnesium present in the molten aluminium alloys. To obtain consistent results, Magnesium percentage should be lower than 0,50%. The product, when injected or dispersed in the melt, reacts with Magnesium reducing this element to the required value. Magclear 332 is also active to remove hydrogen and oxide impurities contained in the molten metal. The amount of flux requested is approximately: 6 kg of flux to remove 1 kg of Magnesium. Exact quantity should be adjusted by experience. Stirring the product in the melt will help to achieve optimum results. Injection units, recirculating pumps and electromagnetic stirrers will help to achieve superior results.

Packaging and storage

25 kg paper bag laminated with polythene, moisture resistant, heat sealed at the base.

Warnings

The product is hygroscopic. Store in a dry storage and close the package after each use. If the product is stored in a dry place away from sunlight, the product does not expire.
