Thermol 2377 is a compound mixture used to generate heat over the surface of risers and feeders. This must be sprinkled just after filling the mould. The product forms, during its balanced reaction, a lumpy crust which insulate feeders and allows a controlled solidification. Product has very low fume emission. The formulation is studied to be used on small and medium size (diameters) feeders. The feeding effect obtained will reduce shrinkage in the casting and avoid repair welding on castings produced.
