Germinal 1499 is recommended for aluminium silicon alloys containing silicon over 13% and up to 26%. The tablet introduces phosphorous in the metal creating a very fine dispersion of silicon crystal plates. This phenomenon, known as grain refining, is easily obtained by using Germinal 1499.

Germinal 1499 guarantees a consistent and perfect distribution of phosphorous throughout the molten metal. The treatment will allow increase of mechanical characteristics and performances during thermal treatments of the alloy.

250 gr tablets in 18 kg cardboard boxes.

Warnings

The product is hygroscopic. Store in a dry storage and away from heat sources. Close the package after each use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
