Elidron 610 tablets release Nitrogen gas useful to degas molten aluminium alloys. Nitrogen gas has a very positive effect for the removal of hydrogen entrapped during melting operations and for oxides, micro-oxides and impurities reduction. Oxides, suspended in the liquid bath, are generally surrounded by hydrogen bubbles and only the removal of oxides will contribute to reduce the risk of hydrogen presence.

Elidron 610 tablets have a combined degassing effect of physical and chemical nature.

Elidron 610 is recommended for degassing treatments of all Aluminium alloys in all types of furnaces and transport ladles. The product is not suitable for aluminium-magnesium alloys with a content of Magnesium above 3%. Elidron 610 will not disturb sodium or strontium modification effect.

Warnings

The product is hygroscopic. Store in a dry storage and away from heat sources. Close the package after each use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
