Metalcote 26 is a super fine insulating dressing designed for coating die faces of gravity dies (permanent mould) used for aluminium castings. The fine texture contributes to give the best finish to aluminium castings. The high insulating properties of this dressing allow a well balanced solidification of the metal. The product has an uniform adhesivity in order to assure long service life even at high temperatures.

Warnings

The product is frost sensitive. Store at temperatures above 5 ° C and close the pails after use. It is possible that during storage some products containing mineral ingredients tend to precipitate. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If properly stored the product shelf life exceeds 12 months.
